HR Concepts Expands; Launches New Brand Identity

President Kathy Albarado chooses Helios HR and tagline “Energizing Your Workforce” to reflect company’s focus

RESTON, VIRGINIA (January 9, 2006) – HR Concepts, a Northern Virginia-based human resources firm that specializes in providing outsourced human resources services, today announced its new name, Helios HR and unveiled its new corporate logo. The word Helios is Greek for “sun” and was chosen, in part, as a reflection of the company founder’s Greek heritage, but more importantly to illustrate that the firm’s client-focused services are designed to “energize” today’s workforce.

Additionally, the name change to Helios HR was selected to better reflect the company’s core missionof enabling organizations to create a culture that attracts, retains and engages an exceptional workforce. With a recent Gallup research poll revealing that over 70% of a typical workforce is disengaged, Kathy Albarado, president of Helios HR states, “it is more critical than ever to provide services to our clients that will result in an enhanced workplace culture and ensure maximum employee engagement and retention.”

“The workforce is changing,” further comments Albarado. “In response to these challenges, we have expanded our service offerings so we can provide a targeted focus on these areas. In addition to its new brand and targeted services offerings, Helios HR has been focusing on filling new key staff functions. During 2005 the firmincreased the number of client services managers and added a new practice leader and director of administration. This past year Helios HR doubled its employee base as well as annual revenues, ending with very positive growth.

Helios HR’s expansion plan will continue through 2006, with employee growth primarily in three areas:  HR business partners, practice leaders and sales and marketing professionals. Helios  HR has moved to new headquarters in January, secured as a result of this rapid growth The firm’s new location is in Reston, Virginia at 1900 Campus Commons Drive.
