Reston Interfaith and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce Announce 2009 Best of Reston Winners and Strategic Partners

Reston, VA — February 11, 2009 — The 2009 Best of Reston Honorees and Strategic Partners were formally announced Wednesday, February 11, 2009, at the “Revealing the Best” Reception, generously hosted by Vinifera Wine Bar and Bistro, located in the Westin Reston Heights.

This year’s winners in the following new categories are:

The annual Best of Reston Awards honor businesses, organizations, and individuals who have put forth tremendous effort in their commitment to community service and improving the lives of others. The Awards and Gala are produced in partnership by Reston Interfaith and the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce. Nominations for the awards were submitted between September and December from the community. An anonymous panel reviewed all nominations and selected the winners of this year’s awards.

Winners of the 2009 Best of Reston Awards will be formally honored at the 18th Annual Best of Reston Gala on April 30, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency Reston. Sponsorship opportunities for the gala are available for $500 and up; details are available at www.restoninterfaith.org. Proceeds from Best of Reston support the programs and services of Reston Interfaith.
