Kathy Albarado
President & CEO

As founder and CEO of Helios, Kathy is an award-winning human capital management consultant with 20 years of experience practicing in both large firms and small to mid-sized organizations. Her counsel has been credited with contributing significantly to firm valuation and long-term employee retention. Kathy has been quoted in various media sources including The Washington Post, the Washington Business Journal, The New York Times, Human Capital Magazine, Compliance Magazine, Virginia Business and ExecutiveBiz regarding human capital and leadership challenges.

Kathy holds an M.A. in Human Resource Management; a B.S. in Psychology from George Mason University and is certified as a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR). She currently sits on the Board for SECAF (the Small Emerging Government Contractors Advisory Forum), the Governing Board to Prevent and End Homelessness in Fairfax and Falls Church, the advisory board to SmartCEO Magazine and HR WebAdvisor. She is also an active member of ACG, the Economic Club; the Fairfax County Chamber; Vistage; and Women in Technology. Kathy considers herself fortunate for having been recognized by numerous awards that focus on her commitment to community, corporate social responsibility and ethics. Kathy is committed to building a team-based culture in her organization and making an impact in the community in which they work and live.

Ellyn Krause
Vice President, Finance

Ellyn has over 25 years in finance and business management in both large and small organizations. Prior to ENC, Ellyn had numerous management positions in finance and accounting over her 15-year tenure at Digital Equipment Corporation. Ellyn supported Digital’s hardware and services business in Chicago and Washington. Throughout her career, Ellyn has given back to the community by actively participating on numerous local boards in a variety of capacities.

Ellyn holds a B.S. in Management from Northern Illinois University and a Masters in Business Administration from Loyola University in Chicago.

Stephanie Kotch, SPHR
Managing Director

As a Managing Director for Helios, Stephanie leads a team of HR Business Partners who provide full-service HR and strategic consulting support to a wide variety of organizations. The Managing Director acts as an additional trusted adviser in supporting the HR Business Partners to further ensure the success of the engagement and depth of the client relationship.

Stephanie is an experienced HR leader with more than 15 years of experience in a variety of industries including telecommunications, technology, and professional services. Prior to joining Helios, she served as Vice President, Human Resources at Cox Communications, and Director, HR Business Partner at Covad Communications. Stephanie has extensive experience with strategic planning and change management. She has demonstrated expertise at facilitating business and cultural transformation aimed at achieving quantifiable results with 100% success rate at mitigating legal risk without compromising timeliness. She is recognized as a strong, strategic business partner, coach and mediator.

Stephanie holds a B.B.A. with a concentration in Human Resource Management, and is a certified Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR).

Bridget Pulivarti, SPHR
Practice Director, Government Contracting & Recruitment

In her role as Practice Director, Bridget leads the compliance initiatives and programs for the Helios Government Contracting line of business as well leads a dedicated team of recruiters in the Helios Recruiting and Placement practice.

Throughout her career, Bridget has developed and managed full-life-cycle recruiting programs, adding headcount, back-filling, top-grading talent, contract start-ups and pre-contract awards. Her government contracting recruiting experiences includes OFCCP compliance, OCONUS, cleared and non-cleared positions.

Bridget also brings an expertise in the field of employee relations and government contracting compliance. She has managed employee claims and grievances as well as compliance audits from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Department of Labor (Wage and Hour) and the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP). To date Bridget has designed and delivered nearly 175 Affirmative Action Plans and participated in twenty successful OFCCP compliance and discrimination Audits. In addition she has experience with SCA contract compliance.

Bridget graduated cum laude and holds a B.A. in Organizational Communication from Concordia University Wisconsin with a concentration in organization development. She is also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

Amy Levine-Murchie Amy Levine-Murchie
Practice Leader

Amy has over 20 years of progressive Human Resources experience and a diverse set of skills across multiple HR disciplines. She has successfully led strategic change initiatives and executed on the design, development and implementation of learning and development solutions created to optimize human performance effectiveness. She has provided human resources support to employees of all levels in the transportation, creative arts, technology consulting and outsourcing industries.

Amy’s areas of specialization include leadership and team development, performance management, organizational change, talent management and training and development. Central to her work is an acute perception about people, their needs and motivations, combined with a discipline to deliver quality and results-driven solutions and programs.
Amy is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Organizational Development Graduate Certification Program.

Judy Ann McKenzie Judy –Ann McKenzie, PHR
Practice Leader

In her role as Practice Leader, Judy-Ann leads an outsourced team of HR Business Partners providing full service HR consulting support to a variety of organizations. The Practice Leader is responsible for providing strategic oversight on client engagements and ensuring that the strategic vision and day-to- day operational needs of the organization are realized through human capital management.

Judy-Ann is a seasoned result driven HR professional, with significant management experience in providing organization development, strategic planning, talent management and coaching in a variety of industries including manufacturing, telecommunications, finance and non-profits. Prior to joining Helios, she worked in management consulting as a manager in the Transformation Practice, leading various Change Management and best practice engagements driving efficiency gains in global Fortune 500 companies. She has held several leadership roles including Principal at a small HR consulting firm focusing on non-profits, as well as VP, Director of HR at Industrial Bank, NA.

Judy-Ann graduated magna cum laude and holds a Bachelor degree from York College of the City University of New York. She also holds a Masters in Organizational Development from Columbia University and a Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR).

Connie Maniscalco Connie Maniscalco
Practice Leader

In her role as a Practice Leader Connie manages the Recruitment and Government Contracting portfolio. She has over 25 years in the areas of progressive management, finance, budget, and human resources experience that spans small businesses, not for profits, large companies, and Fortune 500 corporations. Prior to joining Helios, Connie was Director of Human Resources for a large government contractor providing security services. Connie’s areas of specialization include government contracting compliance, Affirmative Action Plans, Employee Relations, Benefits, and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Connie earned a Master of Public Administration degree with a management concentration from the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service of New York University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Newberry College.

Stephanie Eberhart
Business Development Manager

Stephanie Eberhart has over 20 years of management, consulting, business development and recruiting experience in both large and small companies. Stephanie has held various positions, to include the Vice President of Sales and Operations, within service organizations that have catered to government contractors, non-profits and commercial companies. Her belief is that a company’s greatest asset is their people. She has committed her career to helping companies attract, retain and engaging great employees.

Stephanie started her career in staffing and recruiting and naturally transitioned into Human Capital consulting. She has extensive experience developing customer solutions and providing professional services in the areas of human resource, information technology, engineering, accounting/finance and sales/marketing.
