Remember to Use the New 2008 I-9 Form
As of December 26th, 2007, all employers were required to begin using the new I-9 Form. The new form adds a document to the list of acceptable forms of identification, though the form removes 5 documents that were previously acceptable. If you did not begin using this form, you could face fines and penalties as mandated by the Illegal Immigration Reform Act of 1996.
