2010 Apollo Awards Sponsorships

INTRODUCTION

The Apollo Awards recognizes organizations that promote employee development. The awards reflect the commitment of employers who engage in best practices with their workforce to provide programs and initiatives that create a culture of continuous learning.  In the last two years, over 700 organizations in the greater Washington area have participated. These employers realize a “best place to work” environment which provides them a competitive advantage in hiring and retention.

THE 2010 APOLLO AWARDS

The Apollo Awards are presented in multiple categories based on company size. An independent selection committee reviews the nominations received through a rigorous screening process and winners are announced at the annual awards ceremony. Finalists for the Apollo Awards are selected based on the following criteria:

• Professional development opportunities available to employees
• Ability to effectively communicate these programs to employees
• The robust nature of their performance management system
• Quantifiable impact of their employee development initiatives on the organization

The 2010 Apollo Awards will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2010
at the Fairview Park Marriott in Fairfax, Virginia.

Sponsorship Visibility to:

 • 18,000 decision makers through monthly advertisements in SmartCEO (February-June 2010)
• 6,000 decision makers through email blasts from SmartCEO (February-June 2010)
• Over 400 participants at the awards ceremony that include CEOs, Executives and Leaders in HR from organizations throughout the greater Washington metropolitan area
