The January 10 workshop is designed to hear a former Judge and past winners share the types of programs that provided for a winning nomination. The Apollo Awards program recognizes organizations in the Washington metropolitan region that are driving innovation and impact in employee development initiatives.

The Apollo Awards Nomination Workshop will help applicants focus on elements including the employee onboarding process, opportunities for mentoring, community involvement and the impact of a program on an individual and the organization.

“With the increasing volume of nominations we have seen each year, we saw the need for a pre-awards session helping organizations best represent their programs,” said Kathy Albarado, president and CEO, Helios HR.

Nominations for the Apollo Awards will be accepted from January 12 through February 16, 2012. Winners will be announced at the annual breakfast awards ceremony at the McLean Hilton on May 30, 2012.
