SECAF Announces Additions to Board of Directors

Investment bank and human resource executives to serve the Small and Emerging Contractor Advisory Forum (SECAF)

McLean, VA – November 15, 2010 – The Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), the premier organization for the small and emerging government contractor, today announced the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors. Kathy Albarado, President and CEO of Helios HR, and Cameron Hamilton, Senior Managing Director at The McLean Group, have joined the Board of Directors to help guide the organization through the remainder of 2010 and into 2011.

SECAF’s mission is to provide education, resources and advocacy venues to serve the small and emerging government contractor community for the purpose of ensuring success and equal access to contracting opportunities.

Albarado, who serves as co-chair of SECAF’s Membership Committee, is the founder of Helios HR, an award-winning human resources outsourcing and consulting firm. Albarado has 20 years of experience practicing in both large firms and small to mid-sized organizations and is author of “The Guide to HR Administration”, published by Thompson Publishing. Helios HR has led the HR initiatives of more than 400 client companies in the Washington, D.C. region alone with a large percentage of these firms being government contractors.

Hamilton joined The McLean Group, a leading middle-market investment bank in 2001 and has been involved in more than 25 successful sell- and buy-side mergers and acquisitions and capital formation engagements. He focuses on serving federal contracting and defense technology clients. Hamilton currently serves on SECAF’s Membership Committee and is advisor to SECAF’s Contractor’s Advice Forum.
