Helios Named Woman-Owned Business of the Year
Reston, Va. – July 05, 2011 – Human capital management solutions provider, Helios, is proud to announce they have been awarded the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce Woman-Owned Business of the Year award. This honor recognizes a Northern Virginia woman-owned firm for local business leadership and dedication to corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts that go above and beyond to serve the community.

Ms. Albarado participates in various community leadership boards including the Governing Board to Prevent and End Homelessness in Fairfax and Falls Church, the Small Emerging Government Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF) and the Fairfax Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Helios is the founder of the Apollo Awards, the premier award program recognizing organizations that invest in innovative employee development initiatives.

The award was presented at the Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce Annual Chairman’s Luncheon & Outstanding Corporate Citizenship Awards on June 29. Nearly 600 awardees, honorees, members of the business community, and elected officials gathered to honor leaders in the Northern Virginia business community.
