Helios hires Colette Brooks, SPHR as Managing Director

RESTON, VA, July 10, 2012 – Helios HR, an award-winning organization providing human resource outsourcing, consulting and recruiting solutions, is pleased to announce the appointment of Colette Brooks, SPHR as Managing Director. As a member of the executive team, Colette will make an impact by focusing on the client experience and will manage the three separate and distinct lines of business-HR management outsourcing, human capital consulting and recruiting, in scaling the organization.

Colette joins Helios most recently from a start-up firm based in Richmond, VA, Kinsale Management Inc., where she worked as Assistant Vice President, Human Resources and helped support an organic growth strategy resulting in $37M in revenue the first year in operation. Colette partnered with the leadership team to create an entrepreneurial culture that resulted in being recognized as one of Virginia’s best places to work two years in a row. Prior to her role at Kinsale, Colette was the Director of Human Resources at Circuit City and the Director, HR Management Development Consultant and Executive Coach at Capital One, where she worked both nationally and overseas.

Colette has been instrumental in improving performance with innovative solutions, effective change management, and building businesses with focus, discipline and creativity. Colette is highly regarded for her strong coaching skills and her ability to initiate and sustain meaningful, productive relationships. She will hold a pivotal role in Helios’ continued growth and success.
