Recognizing Washington Employers for Growing & Developing People

RESTON, VA (March 1, 2016) – Helios HR, a leading human capital management, consulting and talent acquisition firm, proudly announces 33 finalists for The 10th Annual Helios Apollo Awards. The Awards honor Greater Washington employers for human capital excellence in talent development.

The Apollo Awards are open to all employers, regardless of size or industry, with a location in Greater Washington. Out of the 250 nominations received, the honorees were selected by a panel of judges independent of Helios HR, comprised of industry experts, recognized Chief Human Resource Officers, and former Apollo Award recipients.

In honor of the 10th season, The Awards will be presented in 10 categories: Assimilation & Onboarding, Career Development, Communication, Community Outreach, Culture, Employment Brand, Innovative Technology, Leadership Development, Mentorship & Coaching, and Recognition. Since 2007, Helios HR has recognized the best and brightest Washington employers for building “Cultures of Intention”: cultures that allow them to attract, grow and retain exceptional talent. “It's been amazing to watch the shifts in practices throughout the years in the development of intentional programs to attract, retain, and engage exceptional people," said President and CEO Kathy Albarado. The Apollo Awards has created a community for leaders to not only celebrate, but also to learn, collaborate and connect on overcoming talent obstacles facing employers today.
