Helios HR Selected as a Semi-Finalist in Washington, DC-based National Capital Business Ethics Award Program

News

Helios HR recognized for its integrity, civic and social responsibility, and business excellence

Reston, VA – September 3, 2009 – Helios HR, an award-winning HR consultancy delivering outsourced HR solutions, is pleased to announce its selection as a semi-finalist for the National Capital Business Ethics Award in the category recognizing companies with under 250 employees.

Building on its past eight years as a showcase for companies to demonstrate their ethical behavior, the National Capital Business Ethics Awards (NCBEA) program will recognize the semi-finalists at a black-tie-optional ceremony on November 12th at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Tyson’s Corner, Va.  The event will recognize the six finalists in the Small Company Category and select the finalists and winners.

“It is such an honor to be recognized in the company of so many great firms,” stated Kathy Albarado, President and CEO of Helios HR. “We practice the best practices we approach with our clients and we appreciate the validation from the community. In today’s business climate, the tenets of integrity, social responsibility and philanthropy are so important alongside business excellence. I applaud NCBEA for elevating the importance of these values.”

Hosted by the National Capital Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals in partnership with George Mason University, the NCBEA polled an independent panel of judges from business, academia, public service, media, and consulting in evaluating the entries and selecting the finalists and winners.  Assessments will be based on company size, and not-for-profit organizations will have their own separate category.
