National Survey Reveals Key Insights on Top Paid Leave Benefits
WASHINGTON – [July 21, 2020] – Helios HR, a leading human capital and talent management consulting firm, today announced the findings of their leave benefits report published in collaboration with NFP, the 5th largest insurance broker and consultant in the world. Helios HR and NFP partnered to survey more than 190 companies, representing 16 states and 16 industries, to support business decisions related to paid leave benefits for employees.
The leave benefits report is designed to measure and gain insight into competitive leave benefits being offered in today’s market and the policy details that surround each type of leave. The survey report identifies typical amounts of time off, program structures and details on the types of leave being offered such as PTO, unlimited leave, paid parental, paid holidays, flexible and summertime hours, and more. Key findings include the challenges employers overcome to provide certain leave benefits as well as the success employers realize in offering these benefits to employees. The survey also uncovered the added flexibility employers are providing through customized leave and return-to-work programs designed to attract and retain employees.
