Emerging Trends Impacting HR
Presented by Keith Greene, SPHR, former Vice President of Workforce Development for SHRM
The workplace is changing! The traditional relationship between the employer and employee continues to be impacted by the fluctuating economy, downsizing/rightsizing, and blurred career paths. The uncertainty of staffing levels has employers scrambling to retain their quality employees while seeking additional help through increasingly turbulent business cycles. The demographics of the workforce are shifting, forcing employers of all sizes to re-think how we motivate and recognize our employees. What does the future hold? Take a look into the "crystal ball" at the emerging and evolving trends facing the workplace today...and tomorrow.
Keith Greene was the former Vice President of Workforce Development for the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Prior to joining SHRM, Keith was an HR practitioner for thirteen years. He holds a BBA Degree in Personnel Management from the George Washington University, and received his certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).
