Helios HR is honored to be the recipient of Shelter House's Corporate Impact Award for Excellence in Philanthropy at their 8th Annual Volunteer Appreciation Awards, held virtually this year due to COVID-19. The Corporate Impact Award for Excellence in Philanthropy honors a corporation that has impacted Shelter House on many different levels through corporate contributions (board support, employee giving programs, fundraising, in-kind donations, monetary donations/sponsorships, volunteering and pro-bono projects). Shelter House, Inc. is a community-based, non-profit organization that provides crisis intervention, safe housing, and supportive services to homeless families and victims of domestic violence in our community.

Here at Helios HR, we recently welcomed new team members just as we switched to working remotely full time. We understood starting a new job during a pandemic was going to be challenging for our new hires, but with a little planning and teamwork, we could still provide them with a warm welcome and ensure they had everything they needed to be successful.
